Dr. Bullen is particularly interested in clinical nutrition application, specifically: critical care, multi-disease state, and assisted feeding. Her research focused on the validation of ultrasound as a modality for quantitative muscle measurements in dogs. Though she is no longer in academia, Dr. Bullen brings experience and a strong passion for teaching.
DOUG YANIK, DVM, MBA

Dr. Douglas Yanik is a 1980 graduate of Iowa State Veterinary School and completed post-doctoral work at the University of Florida in anatomic pathology. Dr. Yanik has an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Dr. Yanik served as an on-staff companion animal veterinarian in clinics around the United States and has extensive experience in as an on-staff veterinarian with companies such as Merial and Nutramax. Dr. Yanik served as assistant dean of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Yanik currently serves as regional scientific services veterinarian for Royal Canin Veterinary Divisions. In addition, Dr. Yanik provides consultation in strategic management for the companion animal clinics and builds internal clinic training programs centered on redefining customer service and building a better patient experience
