Vet-Stem Technologies: Regenerative Medicine for Small Animal Practitioners. March 13, 2008

Vet-Stem Technologies now provides Regenerative Cell Therapy to the small animal practitioner. A Pomona, California- based company offers 3 RACE approved CE credits to any veterinarian that completes the Vet-Stem Credentialing Course online. Veterinary technicians may take the course as well, however only veterinarians will be issued RACE CE credits. NCASAM Secretary, Dr. Pax Lattimore, was credentialed and certified to perform Regenerative Medicine on dogs with osteoarthritis. "It is a simple and remarkable procedure that takes the adipose tissue harvested from the dog's inguinal or subscapular area. This sample is mailed overnight to the Vet-Stem company in mailers that they provide. Within 24 hours the treated sample is ready for intra-articular injection. Within 30 days and certainly by 60 days, the dog experiences a noticible reduction in pain and an increase in mobility. I recommend that my colleagues become credentialed as well, as this provides another treatment option for our osteoarthritis patients." Go to www.vet-stem.com
to register on-line for the credentialing course.
