Asceptically prep the penis and prepuce in all abdominal explorations so that you do not need to drape them out of site. Asceptically prep
the penis, prepuce, vaginal vault and vulva of all lower urinary surgeries so that the solo surgeon can manipulate them in normograde and retrograde flushing of the bladder.

Prepare a 0.05% Betadyne solution by putting 5 ml of a 0.1% Betadyne solution in 100ml of sterile saline.

Make all biopsy samples diagnostic samples

Use a xiphoid to pubis exposure for abdominal exploratories to enhance visualization.

Remove all falciform ligaments when exploring the abdomen.
